Our support team have posted common questions for TREE, if you have a question please fill in the form by selecting the button to the right.

What does TREE deliver?

TREE is an educational toolkit, which utilising current school practice, promotes a set of attributes that are proven to raise attainment, reinforce positive behaviour and improve home school links.

How does TREE deliver the citizenship requirement?

By emphasising and promoting the skills that pupils need throughout their lives Citizenship becomes embedded in the everyday life of the school. QCA’s document on Citizenship lists the areas that pupils should have exposure to. These areas are within the 5 leaves and they are all recorded and available as a Citizenship report and printout.

How does TREE improve behaviour?

By concentrating on positive reinforcement of skills that pupils need to be successful, and with the pupils being fully involved, the pupils whose behaviour has sometimes been a problem tends to improve because they have acquired these new skills, i.e. working with others, respecting other peoples property

How will a programme designed for social, emotional and behavioural skills help SATS?

If pupils take more responsibility for their own learning, if they can work on their own on in groups, if they are better at setting and meeting deadlines and if they can problem solve, then all learning will improve

We have enough initiatives, what makes TREE different?

TREE has as its starting point current school practice, but it fully involves the pupil and parents guardians. TREE brings a framework to all the initiatives that schools have to implement but the emphasis on the recording within TREE is firmly with the pupil.
